Some things worth noting …

Check In / Check Out

Check In time is 4:00pm. Check Out time is 12:00pm.

For guests wishing an earlier arrival or later departure, please contact our Front Desk.  We will make every effort to accommodate your request.

All guests must have a valid credit card in their name to present upon check in and must be over 18.  In order to ensure the safety of all of our guests, the Capital Hill Hotel & Suites does not accept prom reservations.

Please note:  Pre-paid credit cards are not recognized by the hotel as a valid credit card.

Cancellation Policy

Guaranteed rooms must be cancelled by 4pm the day of arrival or the first night’s room rate and taxes will be charged to the credit card provided.


We are a pet friendly hotel.

A one-time additional $20 fee plus applicable taxes will be billed for the duration of your stay.

Non-Smoking Policy

As of February 2009 the Capital Hill Hotel & Suites became a non-smoking hotel. We appreciate guests respecting our clean air policy.

If a room has been smoked in, it must be returned to it’s original smoke-free state. To do this, the guest room will be put out of order for a minimum of one day where we will ozonate the room, steam clean carpets and furnishings, dry clean window coverings and repair any other damage that may have occurred. Therefore, a housekeeping charge, starting at $200 applies.

Noise Policy

In order to ensure a pleasant stay for all of our guests, we do not permit parties or excessive noise on guest room floors. Noise levels in guest hallways are monitored beginning at 10pm daily.

  1. For the first noise complaint, the hotel will issue a warning and will request guests to lower the noise levels coming from their room. At this point in time, any guests who are not registered to the room will be asked to leave.
  2. For the second noise complaint, whether received from hotel security or other hotel guests, it will result in the registered guests being asked to leave the hotel property. We will not issue a refund in the case of eviction from the hotel.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring all guests enjoy their stay.

Restrictions on the Use of Hotel Rooms

For security purposes, all guests using the rooms must be individually registered. Our guest rooms are for personal use only of those registered guests and any commercial or other uses and/or advertising of our name and/or trademarks are expressly forbidden without our prior written consent. No refunds will be issued.
